I can't speak for the nuts and bolts of Catalina vs BeneJeanEuro, but at last year's boat show the C455 showed magnitudes 'yachtier' than the equivalent offerings from Bene and Jeanneau.. nicer joinery (though still miles from, say, a Passport 40), more practical storage solutions, none of the horizontal grain "Ikea-ness" of the others. We liked it best of what was on view at that time. There was an equally nice/maybe nicer Tartan (44?) there too, but you needed to add yet another $100K for that one, made the C455 look like a 'deal'...
