No doubt the sabre is a beautiful boat The only thing that would concern me on a twenty year old cored boat would be the core. Id have to look at that real hard. Im no big fan of cored hulls especially balsa. Not knockin sabre and dont want to debate the realative merits Im fully aware of the bennefits and draw backs just prefer solid laminate.
Mitch theres differant levels of performance if I wanted to go fast I wouldnt owne a sail boat
