We just bought a used dinghy. It has an inflatable floor that sits on top of an inflatable keel. The top side of the floor has a series of pinhole leaks. Is there a fix that anyone knows of for this, like 'fix a flat. The dinghy is hypalon and I am assuming that the floor is the same.
Thanx
I have used Aluthane - a mcu aluminum paint on a weathered plastic tarp used as a boat cover - sealed it nicely. I bit stiff but not an issue for your material. google aluthane
There is some stuff you put in then roll the boat around and reinflate that does exactly this. Works pretty well. Forget the name, but was easy to find at Hamilton marine or west marine.
Tried that once.. Not impressed. Prepping and painting floor with Hypalon could work.
