Re: Useful Stuff--Finger Nail Polish Bottles
As a follow up to my earlier post, I overlooked mentioning that after I filled the nail polish bottles with the various finish materials, I wiped down the threads well and then applied a thin coating of Petroleum Jelly to the threads. This keeps the inevitable little drips from the bottle neck from locking up the caps when the bottles are re-closed. (The same trick can be used on the protruding lips on the undersides of paint and varnish cans without adversely effecting the contents.)
