This kit will do what you want.

Cole Hersee Engine Warning Kit

I would not put both the temp gage sender and the alarm switch in a tee. I would be concerned that the water in the tee would not circulate and you would not get an accurate reading. The switch can be installed anywhere in the water circuit. If you install it in a hose, remember that it requires a ground to complete the circuit.
