Re: VHF AIS radios

We just installed the Simrad RS-35 with wireless remote. It was a PIA because the tech manual was wrong that came with it. Once we figured out how to wire it up it works great with my Raymarine gear. Both Simrad and Raymarine techs were great to work with in getting this radio to work. So I guess I had a different experience than others. The network is amazing. There are so many features on this radio, that I have not figured out yet.
Simrad came out with a software update in Oct to fixed the compatibility problems. They now have to update the installation manual. I love the wireless remote. It is a full feature radio in the cockpit.
