We did some of our furthest ranging cruising this past summer, and put on close to 800 nm (too many hours on engine, not a lot of wind and/or stiff current or tidal windows).

In 2006 we didn't go as far, but racked up over 1200 nm in shorter hops.. I'd say over the last 10 years we've been averaging 7-800 over the year, most of it between June and September. This is on our own boat, not including the occasional winter visit to friends in far places...
