Re: Nautical miles per season

We keep track of ours as well as post them in a log book.

The last 7 seasons before this we averaged 2800-3000 km a season

30 sailing weekends averaging 50 miles and a trip to The Long Island Sound/ New England and ports inbwteeen and tangentially 1300 miles.

This year we didnt make to our long trip as health difficults intervened, but we are still at alomost 1600 kn with about 1.5 months to go in our season.

Thats what makes me so quizical to what the definition of a "criuiser" is. We dont consider ourselves cruisers, but many one here who either live on their boats or sail many less miles per year do.

Our boat is our escape, second home, vacation castle and therapy.
