Hi Hudsonian!

Generally, it is best to try the least caustic remedy first like some of the oils & cleaners mentioned (eg., Murphy's oil soap).
If result is still unsatisfactory ramp up to de-natured alcohol with a scotch brite pad.
If that still leaves stains I'd next try Oxalic acid in the form of Barkeeper's Friend.
Oxalic acid IS the main ingredient of 1 part teak cleaners.
If that does not work than dynamite will make the stain go away! :Just Kidding
