Anything can be fixed BUT it may not be cost effective.
Check to see if you have continuity on the rotor and all stater windings.
Also check for blown diodes. Usually just one goes.
The slip rings look OK.
Check to see if the bearings run smoothly, cheap replacement item.
If you were in Grenada I would tell you to take it to Al Bernadine who would soon have it working again.
I took it today to an electrical shop.
It looks like the continuity is ok.
The diods look ok.
The bearing needs to be changed.
There is on cable that connect the diods that looks broken (fired).
I hope it can work again !!!
It would be nice to be in Grenada instead of in Rome ... and working
