We just replaced the countertops on our boat with the same problem - the teak trim around the outside. We could not get the trim off. We got a router bit - roman-ogee is what it was called and it beveled the edge of the laminate beautifully and made beautiful little bevel on the top of the trim. I will send you photos if you like.
