Re: New WA state insurance law??

The largest marina in Anacortes is Cap Sante (Port of Anacortes), and we leave a boat there several times each year for up to a week at a time. Never been asked for proof of insurance. My son ran the store/marina here at the island last summer and got all the necessary permits from the state/county and never heard anything about an insurance requirement for transient boats. Not sure where this came from, but it seems like someone would have heard something about it if it was true (although with the number of new laws passed every year here in WA it's entirely possible). I'll ask one of the people I know at Cap Sante next time I'm over there and let you know what they say Ron.
