Sorry forgot to add that you must install a pan under it for cleaning the filter and for times when you use too much soap etc. For size though it was the best.

In the early 90s I lived abaord a 43 Egg Harbor, powerboat. I built a cabinet and installed a venting splendide washer dryer combo. We used it for 4 years and loved it. I had to replace a switch or two but that was it. The biggest issue was that for best drying once it stopped you had to make sure the clothes were loose from the sides of the drum otherwise stuff would dry to it. We also got in the habit of taking half the washed clothes out for drying half at a time. I am now on a 40 Schucker and will be buying one for this boat as well. I would recommend agains the ventless although having a vented one on a sailboat raises other issues. Friends had a ventless one and had condensation and humidity issues on their boat because of it. Interestingly enough the first one I bought in 1991 was the same price they are now.
