This wasnt in the sea and it didnt stay taken as i got it back, but my 1991 Johnson 3hp went overboard in my granddads pond this morning. Brought it from the boat to run in the pond for its montly freshwater flush and as i went to turn it went right overboard. As much as it sucked, it was funny watching it go down. It did about 3-5 turns underwater. Lucky it was only about 10ft down. Salvaged it with a rope and a big hook made from rebar. Havent started it yet, but it did get flushed out with clean water and WD40/PB Blaster. Heres a pic of it after being drug out of the pond.
