Yes! Only for winterizing. I considered tees and fittings as they would be nice to have, but it meant at least $60 in bronze (valves not included) for two engines, not to mention the cutting of hoses and such. Once winterization is complete and the modified Lid is removed the boat is as it was with the un-modified strainer lid.
