Partnership Boats
I am a clutz mechanically and rely on my boat partner to do the mechanical stuff. He is excellent at doing it and keeps a log of repairs.
The Boat Partnership corollary to Murphy's Laws is:
Check the Maintenance Log before setting off on a trip, and if the fresh water impellor has not been pulled, then pull it yourself to make sure that it is not falling apart. I will spare you all the long story that lies behind this corollary.
