I own a 1971 Cal 27, hull # 68, with a Vire BVR engine. I would like to know about rebuilding my engine or going with an outboard. Would I have to reinforce my transon to handle any engine under 12 hp. Also my boat has a
wheel instead of a tiller. Would this be original or after market. I have a ton of questions but I'll ask more as I go along. Thanks, Mike
