Question: How many eyeballs scrutinize the book before press time? I haven't noticed issues with the previous Annapolis book, but have found errors in my recent Chapman's, and know how sneaky the gremlins can be (and, as a retired technical editor, have met many of them).
Many thanks. A lot of eyeballs reviewed the text and proofs. Simon & Schuster is a careful publisher. As you as a technical editor surely know, typos and gremlins still sneak through in any publication and are corrected in subsequent printings.
