Careful...quirky Rude's this will also depends on the heat (or cold) of the day

You can quickly flood it with too much pulling at full throttle.

I usually choke it and pull once....then 1/2 choke and no throttle till it starts...then let it warm up and slowly "feather" the choke off....

Other times it fires up 2nd pull with no choke.

Sometimes it won't start at all..

and sometimes it's a combination of all of the above

Get comfortable in the yard with her temperament first in a barrel.
