It usually takes histerics to get humanity 'off it's ass'. This isn't the only site that has an off topic thread about global warming I can assure you. I don't know of any politicians here, and WE are talking about it. I would say then, that there is such time, and it is right now, with you, me, goose and the others here that had some input. This topic is spreading through all the ranks, thanks to the likes of Al Gore, Tom Brokaw and others. I don't know about you, but their 'histerics' got me off my ass and thinking, reasearching, and debating about it. When others are motivated in the same way, the common will will move towards solutions. Through elected officials in this country.

The thought that human activities could push the species over it's threshhold of existence is an histerical thought. I'm not buried in the sand with the thinking, hell, we're here now, let's just gloat ourselves with whatever niceties the marketers can come up with, I won't be here when it's time to pay the piper...
