Seriously, I was wondering the same thing. My cockpit rails and bow sprit are a little flaky. I was going to sand and put a coat of spar varnish on them. No?
Another thought was to make a new set out of red oak and varathane them. I'd like to make my sprit longer, six now, I'd like to go eight. Not sure why, I just think it'd look cool.
BTW, all you S.F.Bay guys and others in the area. I need(want) a bow pulpit(USED/CHEAP), anybody have any idea where I might find one?
