Amsteel/wire rope comes up through the cabin top about 2' behind the mast (sheave mounted at that location), runs straight to the Port side about 3' through another sheave mounted on it's side and runs 4' to the cockpit and is attached to a dedicated wire spooling winch. All that above the deck. No loose cable or rope to coil. 4 total sheaves involved, but no cable chafe or packing gland.
