A place called Mountain Equipment Co-op, which specializes in outdoor camping gear, canoeing, kayaking and climbing. I find I use it at least as much as a more traditional "marine" store, because it's considerably cheaper and the items are frequently better made...at least for Canadian conditions!

Anyway, while I could have spent a lot more money, I actually wanted something I could treat under "real-life conditions" (like an Atlantic delivery) without crying too much if the conditions overwhelmed the watch.

I seem to drop cell phones into the water or the bilge with alarming frequency...if I can bear that, I can bear a watch broken by the Atlantic.
