Sad, but too true. I've always been of a mind that anyone voting for a federal candidate should get a ballot that states the candidate's position on 10 issues, rather than one with name and party affliation on it. Can't you just imagine the hue and cry that would raise? And that no one would even care that by opposing it, you're saying people are too stupid to cast an intelligent, informed vote.
