At any rate, there IS software that lets you connect the analog audio output of an older
SSB directly to the sound card input of your PC or notebook computer (Windows). One such product is called PC RadioFax, I cannot vouch for it.
From the looks of it, the Si-Tex Nav Fax 200 has a direct RS-232 dataport connection for your PC and all the software needed: WEFAX, RTTY and TEXT.
Other weather info options include an Iridium phone and hailing Herb with your
SSB.
