Re: New Years Resolutions: Sailing-Related Goals for 2014
Hmmm....good idea. Let's see, my goals for the new year are going to be:
1) Get "Wind Angel" off the hard and back in the water after her 7 year, PO imposed, drying out.
2) Get the storage locker empty so that I can afford to slip her-hence, less trailering, more sailoring.
3) Get some major rebuilds done on her-- bright work, mechanical rebuilds, buffing and polishing, bottom coating, and wood work,--especially that ugly delapidated two piece, non-marine plywood, piano hinged peeling rusted old companionway hatch!! It just kills me to look at it! Come to think of it, if I jsut get that damn hatch replaced with drop boards, I may be able to live patiently unti the other repairs are made.
