Yes, I think you only have two choices. Bring it back and use it locally, or sell/give it away. With the money you are spending you could charter something nicer. Just think when you fly in, the charter will be waiting, and you just go. No spending half your time getting it ready to go out, then the other half getting it ready to go back on the hard. Get a couple of those fancy boat lovin folks to go in with you on the charter and it will be cheaper.

One question is if you bring it back, if you took it back to the islands would the registration still be valid? You may not actually loose it.
