The last several reviews of read of The Cap'n (if you're talking about the one now owned by Maptech) they say it's a dated interface and significantly lacking in features from a lot of other similar pieces of software. Maptech's Chart Nav Pro, Raymarine and Nobeltec are ones I see with a lot of decent reviews. It's tough to choose! The money is less of an issue than the functionality for me.
