Need info. on Baba 40

I'm wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with the Baba 40's? Are there serious issues that have shown up in these boats. I'm looking at a mid 80's pilothouse that seems to be in good shape, probably will need an engine rebuild before too many years, but other than that it's well equipped and seems to have been well maintained. One thing I can't find is the LOA. They all list 39'11", but that is the LOD, it has a good sized bow sprit and I'm wondering what size slip I would need. It has teak decks, which are nice to look at but are probably a big maintenance headache. How do they sail, I'm sure they are great when it's blowing, but what about light air? I haven't actually seen the boat, just pics. Thanks for any help, info., ideas, opinions etc. John Davidson
