In the U.S we commit twice as many murders via gun violence as in Europe. However, Europeans commit suicide twice as many times as Americans.
I'm curious if you know why the incidents of suicide are so prevalent in Europe as compared to the United States. As for gun violence in the United States, my person view would be:
1) Breakdown of family structures.
2) Stronger streak of individualism.
3) Sink or swim mentality.
Only the first do I consider a negative value.
