I tend to agree with Sailaway on this one... it makes much more sense to have a thread title be as informative as possible, as to not waste the time of people who won't be able to help or aren't interested in the exact problem.
Saying "Raw water impeller problem" is better than "cooling system problem" because it is far more specific. Some topics are large, and can result in a heated and open discussion, like the Solar power thread..... even if some people are somewhat irrational about some of the equipment out there. Others are very limited in their appeal... Like "Yanmar 3YM30 oil filter replacement problem".
BTW, most of these thread titles were not specific thread titles and were for illustrative purposes only.
