I''ve continually tripped over, and stepped on, the line as it exits the base of my cockpit locker, then snakes around the tiller, and goes over the pushpit to the outboard. In our yard sits a small sailboat similar to mine with a permanent fitting in the transom for the line. Any thoughts on pros and cons of this setup?
