Everyone put away their fids once they saw how well Brion Toss''s splicing wand worked.
I'm thinking about replacing my wire lifelines with Amsteel (1/4"). Now that it has been a few years, what do you think of your decision?
Did you have any problems running the synthetic line through the stanchions or is there hardware you used to do this?
WRT Brion Toss's splicing wand, I've noticed that splicing directions use FID length for the measurements between marks. Does this pose any issues when you use the BT splicing wand instead of a FID?
