Umm.. I don't know if that will work well as a
dinghy to your sailboat... I'd imagine you'd look pretty strange towing that sucker behind your boat. Also, large rigid
dinghies aren't very kind to the boats they're attached to. This subject has been beaten to death, so I won't go into the gory details...but someone else had been thinking of using an aluminum fishing boat for a
dinghy, and finally came to their senses IIRC.
BTW, you really should
paint the wood, just to give it some protection. You'd be amazed at how fast wood can rot...
