I have a 30' 1970 C&C Redwing which I purchase 2 years ago. The running
rigging is a bit of a mess as nothing much appears to have been done with it over the years. I'd like to make some enhancements to it (e.g. get reefing, main halyard, and possibly some other sail controls to the cockpit) while I bring it back up to speed. I'd like to
rig it for cruising with my wife and myself and, ultimately, single handing. If anyone can point me to some resources for ideas on how to best redesign (books, examples, articles, anything) I'd greatly appreciate it ... I'd like to avoid trial and error as much as possible.
