I used a 44 lb thrust on my 9'6" RIB, pushed it to hull speed (3.4kts) per my handheld.

The 105 AH battery was the killer on that deal, it weighed 67 pounds and gave full speed for 1 hour, and a bit more at lower speed. (coincidently, the 44lb thrust also pulled 44 amps at full throttle.
I judged it as adequate propulsion for my dinghy, but hard to refill the tank.
