Anchors for anchor rollers
I''d have to dissagree with you on that.
The CQR is truly time tested and is a fine anchor however, the Bruce (also a fine anchor)is far better with low rotio scopes.
The Bruce is not time tested because it has only been around for about fifteen years or so but it''s on it''s way to being just that! More and more people that try the Bruce give up their CQR''s and danforth''s.I personally think danforth''s are junk.If a danforth drags, all you are doing is trolling for rocks and grass. They are also poor at resetting themselves and if they get clogged and break-out, they WON''T reset.
I''ve never had a problem with my Bruce.EVER. I have seven anchors and the Bruce IS my main working and overnight hook. I keep a Bruce thirty-three and a CQR twenty-five on my bow platform, the rest are in the basement.
