Many have been saying this for many years, but they are always branded as kooks, crackpots, or extremists, so as not to inconvienence those who choose to ignore what is happening. History Does repeat itself, when the lessons of the past are disregarded. Whereas the Romans had the Gladiators and Circus's, we have Brittney and Paris.
It's why the "liberal thinkers" find those such as the Fundamentalists so frightening. They have gradually thrown off the "shackles" of guilt and conscience, and don't want them put back on. One doesn't have to be religeous to understand the concept of "As ye sow, so shall ye reap".
