Hey, come on now, this is America, where anyone can be a victim. Special interest groups run this country. I see it everyday in my job. 30 years ago it was a predominately white mens club. But thats not allowed, never mind the fact that the job was getting done, with large success mind you. Now, somedays, I worry about my safety and the safety of the local citizens. But they sure do have the system down. The standards are lowered to accomodate the quotas, they get a job, get hurt in a year or two, stay off for a year, come back for a few months, go off on maternity leave, come back in a couple of years, go off injured again, have another baby, etc. And all the while, they work in administration and move up the ranks, then come out in the field as officers with no experience, and people get hurt. Is it any wonder why the state workers comp is a mess?
