In between college classes, my daughter is a part-time server at The Black Pearl in Newport's waterfront district. She's been at it long enough to obtain the coveted title of Pearl-Girl and has picked up lots of great recipes and cooking skills from the chefs.
She's the designated
galley-wench whenever she cruises with us - and the crew always looks forward to her culinary creations.
