Nav software often requires NMEA 183 standard. My Magellan 315
GPS has four NMEA settings - OFF, V1.5 APA, V1.5 XTE and V2.1 GSA. None say NMEA 183.
Are any of these NMEA 183?
Trying to link with Captain Voyager software. While Capn V does not find
GPS, Hyperterminal in Windows shows the PC accepting data as described in the Capn V manual.
Any sugegstions or thoughts?
