Greetings All,

I grew up in land-locked and largely waterless Utah, but since moving to NOLA I have definitely been bitten by the sailing bug. Most of my (meager) sailing experience has been on small cats (14' -18'), but I am hoping to learn to sail larger craft with an eye towards buying my own bluewater boat.

If anyone in the New Orleans area has tips or suggestions on how I might get started, I would really appreciate it.
