I'm in the same boat. *grin* I have a full set of hand and power tools on the boat and another set in my shop (actually a big trailer). I carry a Leatherman (pre-Wave) that I use often for little tasks. I'm a rabid "right tool for the job" person and surprised myself when I started carrying a multi-tool and surprised myself again at how often I used it.

If I have a significant project I break out the real tools.
