IIRC, they bought a flat bed trailer and then made a cradle for the etchells to sit on out of steel angle stock. This is a storage and transport only trailer, not to be used for launching the boat, which requires a travellift. The flatbed trailer was about $750 and the steel was about $225, and then some plywood was about $25 or so.
