I have heard that the state of Michigan has established, or is establishing, a series of safe-anchorage sites on the Great Lakes surrounding it. From what I understand, these spots are supposedly places where boats on the Lakes can
anchor for the night or take refuge in during bad weather. They are supposedly free of charge, but also have no amenities in them. Does anyone know where additional information on these can be found? Thanks for your help.
