I use Chart Navigator Pro... it's much nicer than the free version. It will quilt your charts together for seamless viewing. It will use vector charts (as opposed to just raster). It adds all the live GPS functions - tracking, position, etc. It has a "cruise mode" which will give you all your instrumentation that comes to it via NMEA. The interface is excellent. The only thing it won't do for me, that I wish it did, was integrate radar overlay.
