Shack, we've heard of several people who found Ft W a better commute to the land job. We voted for Annapolis because even though the commute's longer by car, it's shorter for the boat -- if we want to go sailing we're about 10 min from the Bay. (But then, with Dan at the Naval Academy and me working near Dulles Airpt, one of us was going to have to drive...)

Max: Winter aboard in MD, in its own way, is kind of fun. And by late Feb, you have the kind of survivors camaraderie with your fellow liveaboards that we used to get with our neighbors in Phoenix after the snowbirds fled. I am just up to the eyebrows with work today, will e-you tomorrow with info about water-tank filling parties, icy docks, and your biggest enemy condensation.
