It seems unlikely, I know. But I was VERY surprised. I too pride myself on my steaming hot, robust coffee. The beauty of the Toddy is that once the "concentrate" is brewed, you pick the strength in mixing the water in per cup. One caution: This coffee is SMOOTH, like I said 40% or so less acid. Easy on the stomach. But if the acid is what you seek, then Toddy ain't your bag. Myself, I got enough acid from shipboard Navy coffee to last me a lifetime (a year or 2 shorter for having actually drunk the stuff).
