I've got a Turk's head above my king spoke, but my wheel does 1 1/2 revolutions until it's hard over. I can't tell if it's centered or over by just glancing at it. I liked the tiller on my old boat for the instant feedback I could get on rudder position - especially in a potential panic situation like entering or leaving a slip under high winds or currents. Unfortunately, my autopilot (wheel pilot) is older and doesn't show rudder position. I looked at adding it, but couldn't justify the expense since I'll only have this boat for another year before trading up.
