Sam...I don't think anything works for props and shafts. If you are not gonna use the boat...paint 'em with bottom
paint. If you use the boat all the time, they stay pretty clean. It is only when you let them sit for a few weeks that growth becomes an issue. A wire brush and a snorkle was always my solution!
